Meet Bookishh Brooke

I’m Brooke, a late twenty something mom with a bunch of kiddos escaping reality with good ol’ books.

I got back into reading after being unexpectedly let go from my job with 400 other people. I started with historical fiction books written by amazing authors such as Kristen Hannah & Kate Quinn, then found myself falling into booktok recommendations. Shout out to Libby & my local library for letting me borrow a copy of Fourth Wing, because after that, I jumped headfirst into Fantasy & Romantasy. I needed a place to vent about all the horrific cliffhangers I was being left on and all the trauma my husband can’t relate to, so I created my Bookstagram account in October. From there, it has quickly grown into a community that I absolutely cherish. I can’t wait to continue to meet other readers and bond with them over more traumatic books!
